Czech nymphing

Labor day was a perfect occasion to finally go fishing with my friend Bob, who was anxious to learn the Czech nymphing technique. And I must say I wanted to see the way he is fishing, and learn from him as much as possible.

Sunrise caught me on the road and I had to stop for a minute to fill my eyes and mind with its greatness. Then back on the road to meet with Bob.
After a lot of driving we made it to the secret spot. After combing the first pool with nymphs we realized that the fish were actually hitting emergers and were not even looking at the heavy nymphs. So Bob's way was the way to go.

After a few minutes fishing wets he actually hit a double.

Later on we moved and finally the nymphs paid off. Among a bunch of fall fish, the highlight of the day were a couple of beautiful browns who could not resist their curiosity.

Great experience overall, fall season has officially started!!!!
